Me and Erin on New Year's Eve. This is one of my favorite pictures - doesn't Erin look like she could be mine? She is my sunshine because she makes me happy - but she is definitely Aimee's baby! I love all of my nieces and nephews - they have been my saving grace. They just love me - no questions and no pretenses. I love movie night with Aimee's angels - on this particular night, we were watching High School Musical 2 - "I want more!"

Yes, it's true: my cell phone is temporarily out of service. I will have a new one on Tuesday afternoon. So, please do not think I am ignoring you! Yes, it's true ... I am single again. Okay, so you know me, I've made a list of pros and cons. Let's keep it real - the biggest down side is no sex (sorry people, it's the truth). You can guess the other cons; the usual cheesey crap that comes with marriage: no cuddling at night, no good morning kisses, oh - and no help with the yardwork. The list could be long, but then it would be depressing and you'll all feel sorry for me. So I'll give you a short list of the pros: no guilt when I work late, I eat what I want when I want and no one complains - hello health food (well, sometimes it's health food), shopping for myself is much more rewarding, and there are less odd smells throughout the house (um, except for my adorable puppy, Zeus). Well, there you have it! That's the short version, but at least it's out there now. I am no longer a closet divorcee. Please take care to read my top 10 list, though.
