She's Kicking!!!

I love this photo! It truly captures how I feel about Lyns and my niece - I almost look giddy. This is how I spend most of my time with Lynsee. I love being the "favorite aunt" and I can't wait for another niece to spoil. I can't believe my baby sister is having a baby of her own! She will be a great mom - I am so proud of her! I'm glad she and Aimee have gone ahead of me on this particular milestone in life - and when it's finally my turn, I will be calling both of them for support and advice. Lynsee has been great about letting me live vicariously through her. She's very tolerant of me and my poking and prodding. I talk and sing to her belly from time to time, too. That baby absolutely has to know my voice so that when she is finally here, she will know me well. Aimee might actually be a wee bit glad that I'll have another baby to claim as mine -- but no worries, I will always have time for all of my angels.

I've Been Tagged ... 10 Things That Bug Me

These are in no specific order ...

1. Being hit on by married guys. It's just nasty - I'm NOT interested. Go away.
2. Being called a "bean counter." I'm an accountant. I like math, numbers and money - never, ever in my life have I counted beans.
3. Having people assume I know ALL the tax rules because I'm an accountant. FYI - I failed my individual income tax class. Trust me, you don't want my advice. Tax is not my friend - I don't do anyone's taxes but my own.
4. Liars.
5. People that talk on their cell phones in super loud voices in public places.
6. Plastic football hats that are worn around the office during Super Bowl week. You look like idiots - I won't say what part of the anatomy you look like, but fill in the blank, ____ heads.
7. Grammatical errors - you know, "Where you at?" HATE IT!
8. Incorrect Spanish - it's "No problema" NOT "No problemo." Gringos.
9. I, like my mother, do not enjoy made-up words. Do not use irregardless or agreeance. They aren't real words.
